Happy New Year everyone.
The old one has been pretty grim - apart from us winning the league, obviously.
Of course that only adds to the grimness for our visitors, but All The Best to you lot as well.
Let's hope for a steady climb back to some semblance of normality.

 

2020 was a great footballing year for me/most of us. The rest was f#cking sh1t. Happy 2021 to you all.

2020 was good for me and my family. Paid off debts. New four legged addition to family who has turned out perfect. Was a healthy year for the family. My daughters seem to be finally at an age where they're getting along great. Trump lost election and failed to stage a coup against democracy. Liverpool won the league. I'm not downbeat about 2020.

2020 sucked for the world... But for my family of introverts it was a great year.

Hoping 2021 is as good a year for the world as 2020 was for me.

2020 new cat. We got two dogs in 2019.

2020 a much superior year to 2019 for that reason alone. Love my poopers, but they're so noisy and destructive. Cats much more pleasant to share a house with.

 

Cats are dickheads. Hopefully, your dog's eat it

 

Have lots of photos of the cat with its head inside the dog's mouth! They're both super gentle with the cat though... Can't say the same about the cat with the dogs though.

Only reason we got a new kitten was because one of the dogs loves our older cats so much, but they ignore her. She keeps bringing them toys and trying to make friends but they didn't want anything to do with her. We figured if we got a young e kitten it would be friends with the dogs... And it is.

The kitten allows the dogs to curl up next to it... Play fights with them all the time... the dogs are super gentle with the kitten... The kitten is brutal with the dogs... Frequently see the kitten dangling off the dogs head... His front claws stuck in the dogs jowls.

 

I doubt mind cats, just not bothered about them. Quality when cats and dogs get along though

 

My daughter has rats. Same dog that is super gentle with the kitten likes to play with the rats through the cage. It's funny how the rats all get excited to see her through the cage bar and they all come up to the edge and start dancing around her head.

Never tried taking rats out of cage with dog in the room though. She's super gentle with kitten... And looks like she's trying to play sweetly with the rats too... But she did catch a mole in the garden a month ago... I don't think she intended to kill it, but somehow she did.

She looked so sad staring down at the dead mole. I don't know if it was physical damage or died of fright. I know rodents are actually quite susceptible to literally dying of fright.

If I was a mole and a 90lb pit bull mix dug me up, I'd probably die of fright too...no matter how friendly, sweet natured, and we'll intending it was.

 

My dog as a long list of things it's killed. The funny one is bees / wasps, he just doesn't learn

He ****ing hates cats. Not killed one; nearly but not quite (we caught him in the act)

 

The Cheese landlord recently got a kitten as a friend for his Alsatian. The dog's **** scared of it, but if I walked in with Kenny, she'd try and rip his little head off

 

We have way too many animals in our house. One of the three adult cats the dogs are terrified of because she scratches them any time they come near her.

It's funny watching two huge dogs whimpering because they're hungry but their tormentor has fallen asleep stretched out in front of their food bowl and they dare not approach.

The other two have a fairly ambivalent relationship with the dogs. The dogs want to be friends but the cats ignore them.
