Kaymer is striping it, very impressive. It's going to be interesting to see how this shapes up after round 2 today. Getting the best conditions by far there this morning after heavy storms over night, it could be hard work for the afternoon starters to close the gap.

Of the ones that we have all picked, bar mine it seems like we have a chance of getting a few into the money places with a bit of luck as I don't see anyone catching the ze german come sunday night...!!!
As Simon Holt said about Denman in his second Hennesey, 'Kaymer is destroyyyinnngggg themmm'! Don't think any of us had him. He's home and hosed leading by 5 going into the final round. Seemed like he may be beginning to wobble slightly yesterday then he hit one to 5 foot from the 'waste' before sinking the eagle putt. Ice runneth in that man's veins it seems...Can see him being a big player in The Open, stating the obvious I know. As for my bets well it seems Rory had his usual wee huffy round yesterday hitting a 74 which pretty much even rules him out of a top 6 finish unless he plays perfectly today. Ditto Matsuyama.
Haven't seen a performance like that in a US Open since Woods demolition job at Pebble. Kaymer's putting was just unbelievable at times and he made a very difficult course seem pretty ordinary. Well done Kaymer.
STH - It was great to see a player distance himself from the field by such a margin for the first time in a while in a major Distance control with the putter from off the green was simply outstanding. What got me, was the amount of players mentioning Kaymer after RD1&2, he's clearly a well like player and respected amongst his peers. His interviews are always well received as well. genuinely nice guy, and thoroughly deserved victory I picked some E/W off Keegan (£52.50) although some are questioning that return so will look into it tonight Onward to the next tournament!!
Your settlement on that bet is correct Smokin ok. Yeah, Kaymer is definitely back in full flow after going back to his normal swing ( I don't get why these guy's try to change after winning so much anyway. I'd understand like Ken Duke or someone doing it but multiple winners changing is crazy to me, Harrington did the same the donkey) anyway rant over...Kaymer look's like he could dominate the game for a while now and if his putting holds up like that each week we could be seeing a new era of possible dominance, gonna be interesting to see, I really haven't seen a player since Woods do what he did there so all the best to him.
Well done on the Bradley bet by the way, at least some returns numbs the pain but can't have much complaints this week as 'the Iceman' let nobody near him. Irish Open this week too at Fota Island, I've played the course a few times so hopefully it will help me with insight on who should do well here, or probably not
