He had problems a month or so back getting on the forum( for a couple of weeks or so) until Der Alte and OLM sorted out his problem. Obviously could not do his predictions in that period so dropped out.
I'm still on Salt Spring Island TC. Was knocked off the board, and the Predictions posting, for a few weeks due to technical difficulties but OLM sorted it out for me with Der Alte's assistance. If you're still interested in property here let me know what you're looking for. Great place to live and much cheaper than BC Mainland and Victoria. Anyone else coming this way let me know...always enjoy visitors.
It was truly memorable. Favourite place we visited was Florence. At Lake Como we stayed a couple of houses away from George Clooney's place. Visited DH Lawrence's old retreat when we stayed at Lake Garda. Popped into Switzerland to Lugano for a day from Como. Not a great fan of Italian hot food so I lived mostly on fresh bread, cold meats and seafood, fresh salad and gelato. After 6 weeks in Italy we spent a week in Cumbria near Millom and the final week in Hull where I got stuck into real food! Not a drinker myself but in Italy my wife really took to Proseco and now prefers it to her previous favourite bubbly - French champagne.

I've done Amalfi coast. Positano is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. As you arrive by boat it is jaw dropping. But yeah it's a bit poncey. please log in to view this image Capri is amazing too, total billionaires playground, and defo worth a trip out.
Driving west to a wedding in Canmore (just outside Banff) in mid July. Carrying on to my in-laws in the Okanagan where we might visit some wineries and do some hiking and kayaking. Then westward once more to Mission, to visit my daughter. I wouldn't mind another visit to Butchart Gardens and Tofino, on Vancouver Island, if we can make it that far. Anyone heading to Canada can enjoy spectacular scenery and adventures regardless of the location of your choice.
Take an easy drive up the east coast from Belfast to Portrush via Causeway,Bushmills etc. Plenty of places to stop along the way .Carrick a rede was a bit scary last time I was there.
I'm doing double culture, having been to Hull, going to the European Capital of Culture 2017, Paphos, Cyprus, for summer school hols! It will be very hot, and tbh more like an endurance test in the heat, but a woman has got to do what a womans gotta do! Be interesting to see what they are doing, am sure won't be a patch on Hull!
Brasov with a Female Friend - is that a real place or just wishful thinking ? And if so, where do you visit after that - Nikkersov ?
We made our way up the coast each year, first Caravan holiday we had was at Easington, Next year Withernsea, then Ulrome, then Hornsea and when we finally had one at Brid, that was paradise.
We stayed in Paphos in the middle of summer a couple of years ago. It was hot mind! Spent a lot of time in the hotel pool and hunting down shady places to eat. It's a fascinating place. The strip along the seafront is brash and irritating with waiters trying to entice you into crowded hot restaurants then you walk five minutes inland and you've got ancient ruins with 2000 year old mosaics recently uncovered, places mentioned in the Bible and burial tombs hewn into the bare rock. That part of it is magnificent. Awe-inspiring. We also hired a jeep and went up in to the Troodos Mountains. And to Lara Bay just north of Paphos, bombing through the sand-dunes. Great fun!
