    If the ICC prepare turning pitches then we are in trouble, if its dry also and a scorcher then it plays into others hands who have more pace/turn. If they were ECB pitches then England woul dbe heavily odds on.

    why are gobshites whining that we are playing spin against Afghanistan?

    I'm on bbc feed just checking score and i'm seeing some chumps shouting get seam on and end it.

    its 160 odd for 9 ffs....

    roots taken 3 wickets as part time spin. Theres ZERO harm in gving lads a run out pre world cup just in case.

    Its in nobody's interest to not have a 400 run chase every game.

    If the best players walk in then walk off after 5 mins you are not getting value... thats the game now, its big hitters and cheering and blah blah but if the pitch is served up to make it a lottery and you get <200 scores theres nobody going to be happy. <300 now is even poor...

    Even game so far. Losing Roy and root quickly didn’t help. Need stoke and Morgan to bat for another 10 overs and give butler chance to come in and smash a quick fire 80 in last 10
