    wow so poor form england.

Baristow and roy start brilliant and the minute roy gets out everyoen who followed him looked like a complete no mark. none looked like they had any intent at all until we got to moeen. Stokes, morgan and buttler in particular were absolute rubbish.

England were chasing less than a run a ball after 10-15 overs and were well on and then just collapsed totally.

    Was pretty disastrous that.

morgan saying after that he’s rather lose by 90 and play the way they played then try and go conservatively and lose by 10.

now I understand what he’s trying to get at. The team have a style and want to stick to it as in long term they’re confident they’ll win more matches playing like that than lose.

however, at same time you need to be flexible. Conditions and situations call for different skill sets and when you need 200 from 40 odd overs with 10 wickets in hand, you should be able to see out the dangerous bowlers and go along and 4/5 an over for a while to kill any chances India had.

They didn't even need to go conservative. Could have easily kept a high rate going by constantly scoring runs, 1s, 2s and 4s.

Too many catches. Think only Roy can say his catch was unfortunate as the ball suddenly jumped up on him, the rest were avoidable

Exactly. None of the guys who walked out after Roy ever looked up for it.

Morgan and buttler and stokes in particular didn't look like they were going after anyone. They just never looked right.

Nice comfortable win yesterday as we sedately knocked off 337 with a chunk of overs to go .

That period with stokes and bairstow was nothing short of sensational.

some of the shots were like precognition as they hammers the indian bolwers all over the place.

the nice thing is stokes will be FURIOUS he got out on 99 swishing at a high bounce so will be eager to hit a ton in the decider.

Right now england are having a mare.

Disasterous start for bairstow and roy and stokes just got dropped off an easy catch.

they did well to stop the tide with india twice when bowling but its a big toal and they need to wake up now.

Not a bad effort from Curran that. India won all 3 series but the white ball stuff was very close.

Can see these two being finalists in the WC

The T20 games were the important ones. WC in India in November, players needed to get some games on India pitches. In fact as many of the England T20 team should have been aiming for the IPL.

Test matches were a bust imo, pitches were poor and the umpriring was suss. Whole thing looked like it was setup so that India would win the series as they always do in India. Along with some odd decisions by England, selection and in game.
Not a good advert for the version of the sport that's struggling

As for the ODIs, number of players missing for England and then losing some to injury. But close games and could have gone either way.

Agreed, tests weren’t great advert. But the t20s and ODI’s have been very tightly contested worth some brilliant cricket on both sides.

Pant has been brilliant to watch for India and number of great performances from English batsmen. Shame morgan got injured as missed him, especially his captaincy.

Not great for bowlers, but missing some key players.

    3 are no real loss.

Have to question why when I'll was cut short but England are determined to follow this false logic and self harm strategy to focus on the worlds.
