Someone reckons it's Forlan, do you want to tweak it to include or leave as other?

Went for cook but really not worried about it as anyone with a pulse is better then what we’ve just had and even he has us within touching distance.

this team is easily good enough to walk this league.

I’d like a Pearson and Phillips combo with big Sam as sporting director

Not entirely convinced by Pearson tbh. Isn't he just another in the Parkinson mould? And he usually has Shakespeare as his assistant, but I think he's already somewhere else, could be wrong on that like.

This shows how hard it might be to please the majority - 41 votes covering 9 - 11 names (8 names and 3 for others which could all be for different names). I just hope that whoever it is that we ALL get behind him from the start.

Eddie Howe is my top choice. I'm not sure why some people think that's crazy talk but Pearson is realistic, they're of a similar calibre imo. Howe ultimately failed at Bournemouth and had a dodgy spell at Burnley. Pearson has managed some great sides and most recently probably would have kept Watford in the prem if they hadn't sacked him.

Howe is a great fit for us imo and would also be something of a statement which wouldn't hurt. I don't think there'd be many upset Sunderland fans if it happened.

It depends how poll is constructed. I allowed 2 as some will vote Big Sam as dream choice but if that is not realistic you might vote for Cook as well or similar.

Preferably someone foreign. Sick of the same ****e managers who sign plodders like Dobson and Danny Graham.

Already you can see that once you get past the higher level managers like Sam, Poyet and Pearson, which may or may not be realistic, Cook is doing well in voting.

Yeah, I understand and am not knocking it, which is why I voted. All I am saying is that the wide spread of names mentioned in the takeover thread, along with some of the disagreements, show that whoever is appointed will lead to some people being "unhappy". Thanks for setting it up and the opportunity to vote

Poll only allowed so many, tomorrow I'm going to remove the lowest 2 scorers, currently Appleton, and replace with 2 new names. People will be allowed to change their vote if they wish.

Pearson with Super Kev Number 2 all the day cooking long. Would be happy with Cook as the football would improve dramatically with either
