Nah. Arsenal won't sack him if we don't get through tonight.

If our board are to be believed, this season and the last couple of transfer windows have been about getting rid of deadwood and freeing up wages, and allowing Arteta to work out the players he wants to keep and where he needs to add quality.

Two problems with that (1) If we don't get European footie, it will be harder to attract quality players (2) Covid has ****ed everybody's finances.

 

Yeh have to agree, I don't think they'll sack him. Unless they can attract a better manager but then you have the same problem as attracting better players without European footie.

You've still got some tidy players though, just strange you're not performing better than you are. Always seems to me like your strikers are poor.

 

You forgot 3) Arsenal are a bit ****.

Yeah unless somebody like Nagelsmann or Allegri came along, then there's no point ditching Arteta.

We've got some really good players and we've got some utter dross. I think Arteta is still working out where he needs to add players. He's brought in Tierney, who has been brilliant and Partey, who has been injured most of his first season, but is beginning to settle into a run of game. For me we still need to add at least one CB possibly a RB (if Bellerin leaves) and an ACM (hopefully we can sign Odergaard permanently)

We've really struggled for goals this season, **** knows what's happened to Aubameyang. Lacazette is putting in a shift but he can't do it all on his own. Pepe has been mainly ****, but does at least show flashes of his talent.

Players like Saka, Smith Rowe, Martinelli, Saliba, Odergaard are the future at Arsenal and it's good that they are in the team already.

West Hsm will get Top 4
We will get humiliated in the League Cup final.
