Sounds horrific that! There is no stopping this virus now. It's almost certainly a good deal less harmful in itself and the jabs will take most of the big risk away. The great majority of people in the UK in ICU are either unjabbed or older with only two jabs. Similar figures are being reported elsewhere. But when France reports 200k+ in a day on significantly less testing than here and there were180k here yesterday, ( both figures might have a backlog effect mind) and Oz on over 20k today, the virus is coming. On these type of figures, and if they keep coming, restrictions are virtually pointless. Holland are in lockdown and seeing cases rise. What is not happening to anything like the same extent now is hospitalisation and ICU occupation. WA might have to do what almost every where else is beginning to do, and start living with it.
Looks like it might piss it down for at least 3 of the 5 days in Sydney. We might get a draw out of this one lads
Depressingly familiar. That's 9 Ashes Tests in a row (down under) that we have failed to take 20 wickets
This HAS to be the end for Buttler now doesn't it? He can't defend and is too scared to attack, He's a walking wicket right now. I can see a few test careers being ended by this shambles of a tour
It makes you wonder who has had the final say on the team. Broad who has had Warner's wicket for the last few series - especially the last in England, hasn't really had a look in and gets Warner out again in this test, Bairstow although hasn't really been in great form will always dig in to get himself back in and the way the bowlers have been selcted for the pitches that don't suit them! Heads have to roll after this series
Bairstow deserves a ****ing knighthood for getting a century from six. That's ****ing incredible playing with the absolute shower of ****e he is
The pitches that would probably have suited Broad, he was not picked for. Buttler atm one of the greatest one day batters, unfortunately he had proved YET AGAIN he is not a test batter (or wicketkeeper?). When in trouble send for the red head!
Selection, particularly on tour, has been muddled for years. Some of the squad and then team selections have been a joke. Add in the "rest and rotate" policy and it's even more of a joke. Whatever happens after this shambles of a series, the ECB must go back to having (at least) one selector who is independent from the coach. Giving total responsibility to Silverwood who, let's be honest is massively out of his depth, was a huge, huge mistake
Anyone see the Stokes “wicket” 80 odd mph ball, solidly clips off stump about 2/3 of the way up. Bails don’t come off? How?? The Indian fans on Twitter want the rules changing!! More to the point, it missed his Pad by 6” and tue umpire gave him out LBW? Overturned on appeal obviously but terrible umpire decision!
Now Im not a big cricket fan, but can anyone tell me what Haseeb Hameed has actually brought to the team? Also as for the hitting stumps, that is unbelievable luck that
