Still not sure where you’re seeing anything resembling a meltdown to be honest. Just a couple of more emotive posts if anything.

I'm Libby. Nice to meet ya pal :emoticon-0150-hands

I just think it's disrespectful to have a sly dig (or to call people ****s) without being straight about it and giving people the opportunity to respond.

    Each to their own though.

    Agreed.
I read the forum multiple times a day but don't post all the time. Some people post daily ****e, just for the sake of it....and it's their choice.

On the Ings front, will we see Adam Armstrong arrive or are you hoping for better now ?

That last part of mine is a little strong - granted. I won’t go back and edit it but hold my hands up to that

And meltdown / “more emotive posts” exist on the same continuum. One persons meltdown is another persons “emotive posts”.

There are just a couple that seem more extreme than necessary (I know I now can’t talk on this front) notably implying that the club is at fault for accepting?! When they pretty much had no choice

It's a great deal, if the money is used properly.
Judge the club in September I say.

Ps...two posts in two mins. # regular

I couldn't care less that he's chosen to go to Villa. If £30m is right, I see that as great news. With the exception of the extreme optimists who thought we might be able to convince him to stay, every single one of us knew he was leaving. Whether this summer or next summer. So to get £30m for him is about the level where I'm happy to take the money rather than take his goals for another season.

Don't get me wrong, I'm amazed he's chosen Villa and clearly everything that's come out of his camp about wanting to test himself at the highest level has proven to be BS (shock horror...). But at the end of the day, whether he's playing for City, Villa or Bolton, it remains the case that it's not Saints. Hence why I don't really care who it is that has paid us the money.

That isn’t meant to be an attempt to pick a fight. It is the opposite. I’m really not sure how it can be read how you said it

The news doesn’t bother me. *Some* of the reaction kind of does

Is the sell on fee only on any profit or full price, not sure that has been released?

So you agree with a post saying should call people out when being sly about ****ing them off then do exactly the same thing?

It’s @Libby you are referring to, we all know

It's pretty much all guesswork at this point. Whether or not this was the right choice will depend ultimately on the quality of his replacement and where we finish in the league.
