    not to be taken seriously.

just watching totp 1982, so got an idea.

which and why was your best year, and i don't mean for music, i mean generally in life?

I know it's difficult as good things happen at times apart.

    but does anything stand out?

    comm just being curious.

2017 for me, when the first born arrived into the world.

Nothing stands out other than that, most years are good after about 2012 for me.

Second kid coming last year was equally amazing like, but ain’t no **** outside of Miseryside putting 2020 down as a good year.

1975 was a decent year. I was on holiday in Newquay, and sitting on my hotel balcony I spotted a massive Great White Shark. Anyway, mate of mine is the local chief of Police, so we decided to go out and try and catch this thing. As he said the town Mayor was worried about it affecting Tourism. Met a bloke down at the dock, said he had a boat and he'd skipper us. His boat could have been a bit bigger, but we ploughed on regardless.

Anyway, we got drinking on the boat and it turns out he was a war vet in the US Navy. His ship got torpedoed and loads of his crew mates got attacked by sharks. Anyway, shortly after that, the shark we'd spotted started ramming our boat ! I kid you not, this ****in thing smashed the side of the boat clean open and I ended up lobbing an Oxygen canister in it's mouth as it was the only thing I had to hand.

Then the ****er came back, leapt on the back of the boat and chomped the Skipper in two, blood everywhere. By this time the boat was sinking and I was clinging onto the radio mast. The shark was heading straight for me, but using my high powered water pistol I'd bought in Poundland in Newquay town centre, I took aim and shot. It hit the canister and exploded ! Sending bits of Shark flying all over the shop. We had to swim back to shore, but it was one Holiday I'll never forget <ok>

From a literary perspective it was rather poorly structured and researched. It stumbled clumsily from one event to another and the bizarre climax with you scattering pieces of shark around in Poundland was just weird ... particularly as Poundland didn't exist back in 1975.

Any of the years in which a daughter was born ... 1994, the year I first met the missus ... and 2015 and 2016 in terms of football.

Yeah it might have been Woolworths thinking back. The rest of it is all true though.
