I have some spuds, carrots and a swede to use up. Maybe I'll buy a neck of mutton from the groovy up market ponce-food organic butchers, and **** the lot in a pot for about 3 hours on a low heat.
Is Big Soup actually soup or is it more like stew? Is there an official lumpy bits to liquid ratio that takes it from being soup to a stew or casserole?
