    There was also a TV adaption of 'Wilt' wasn't there?... The books are far far far funnier than the TV adaptions Lardi.... Try some of these

    Riotous Assembly
    Indecent Exposure
    Blott on the Landscape
    The Throwback

    Don't read them in public because you WILL laugh out loud!

    Just started reading The Mirror and the Light by Hilary Mantel. I loved Wolf Hall, and Bringing up the Bodoes, the previuos two in the trilogy. She brings the period to life, although her view of Thomas Cromwell isn't shared by many historians of the period. But there's a sign of a Good book, I have read a few books about the Tudor period as a by-product of these books. It was a fascinating time, and probably one of the key moments in forging Britain.
