Looks like a piece of granite to me mate. Probably from the late paleozoic era around 300m years ago. And yes it’s a proven fact that granite has feelings and can suffer from separation anxiety. I would recommend you slowly introduce a piece of slate next to that granite rock mate
I’d happily live in the gym if I had unlimited phone battery and stopped getting forced to do things. Apparently where we are going is much fancier than where we are now, which is crap.
If you weren’t a geologist I’d claim it, but I’ve only seen it on my phone so I’m gonna fess up and admit I took a punt. It ain’t granite is it ?
Its a pretty poor photo but I think I can see biotite (little blac bits), quartz (clearish glassy stuff) and feldspar (opaque white bits) so it probably is. I was pretty impressed.to be honest.
