Good to see the cops have caught the scumbag, who killed that cop in Aylesham, only a 21 year old lad that did it, well that's his life in the bin. https://www.kentonline.co.uk/canterbury/news/man-21-charged-with-murder-of-julia-james-247001/
Lol. I’m 47 now, but yeah that pic was taken about 6-7 years ago. That’s not 67 years ago btw as that would make me Fosse’s sort of age
Pics were taken just as the boards were finished, so it’s prior to fitting a fin Got this big yellow skeg to put on the new one
I’m ****in **** at snowboarding and skiiing. I thought the transition from surfing to snowboarding would be relatively straight forward, but it ain’t. At least with surfing if you’re no good at it, you just fall off into water. But with snowboarding and skiing, once you’re up on your feet you can gain a LOT of speed very quickly ! Maybe with a bit more practice, I’d eventually get the hang of it, if I didn’t kill myself first. Anyway @Chief is our resident Eddie the Eagle on here.
Will be booking our Eurotunnel crossings this morning as it goes. Got the site booked, one last ski trip in the van i think, although maybe use it to ski Easter 2022. My two lads will be kn school ski trip Feb 2022 so we are unlikely to use it then. Never tried snow boarding, haven't got the time to go back to beginner. I know some see it as somehow rad but I don't fancy it myself, skiing will more than do for me. Already looking forward to next February. Bollocks to Covid!
I spent most of my time on my arse trying to snowboard, just getting to your feet is a mission. Actually quite liked skiing. I like the fact that you can move your legs independently and walk them sideways to get uphill or move yourself into the right position. On a snowboard, you're just strapped to a dinner tray sliding down the side of a mountain.
Don’t want to keep bangin on about it, but I’m gonna anyway. Sorry not sorry. This new board is ****in sick. So pleased with how it’s turned out.
Thanks mate. Would you like me to give you a detailed run down of the dimensions, rail shape, bottom contours and rocker profile ?
I was watching that on a live feed when it happened. Bloke called Mick Fanning was surfing in South Africa when a Great White (probably checking him out) got tangled in his leash and likely panicked. Lucky he didn't get a nibble.
i know who it is mate, that clip is used so often as a close call. he was cool as ****, most would have **** themselves.
