Just managed to get next year's golf trip past Mrs Chief under the radar a bit. Cascais here we go.

We'd go a year tomorrow, so I've a long year of creeping and getting brownie points.

I think she wants an extension or something.
Reasonable pay off I'd say.

The room is better than the Ibis I stayed in a couple of days ago. En suite is better than my own.

 

I go away every 2 years with a group of guys to watch either the Euros or the World Cup.
a week of just watching football and eating and drinking whatever we want etc is bliss

have you had a quote for the extension as it will seem like you want it made out of solid gold bricks when they give you the price. I have just had an extension done and **** me the prices !!

 

Something in the region of £60k+, yeah!

My in laws just had done more or less what we're planning, with a few tweaks. Same type house.

Hoping to get the ground works and steel frame sorted with my own contacts, cheaper, but the building and trades are all going to have to be PM'd by a builder.

Ludicrous costs!

 

All done, back in the room. ****ing starving.

 

Started our extension on Tues, been on the kango all afternoon breaking up the old floor and concrete patio the last heathens did. Hands are still tingling.
Unearthed a nice stone step they'd screeded over, date carved into it from when the original extension was done, 1960.

 

On my way home now. Feel battered.
