Right... I feel that with 11 games to go in this season, it's time to create a thread for the top 3 London clubs battling it out for a Champions League slot.

    3rd Spurs...... 51 points

    4th Chelsea...... 49 points

    5th Arsenal...... 47 points

It has all the makings to be a cracking finish to the season for our three clubs. The North London derby next week is huge for all 3 clubs! As is Chelsea v WBA...

All of us get on pretty well on this site so lets have some good banter (not getting too out of hand) and hopefully enjoy what will be a brilliant last 11 games.

I'll start it off.... I'm gutted and I'm sure all other Chelsea fans and Arsenal fans are too. Bale is playing extremely well for Spurs. Some of his goals have been incredible and he has saved Spurs in so many games. But Spurs also have a good team spirit and rally around the manager. Something that we are struggling with a lot and something Arsenal are having issues with... I think Spurs will get a top 4 place for sue and that us and Arsenal will battle it out

I pray for an Arsenal win next week - but you can see Bale scoring against them, and also tearing us up as well at the Bridge. Rafa won't know how to cope with him.

I think we can beat Spurs at home.. They don't really like playing us at the Bridge! Bale is playing very very well though and is one of the key reasons they will get a Champo League spot. Still lots to play for though. We really need to have a huge team discussion and sort it out though. If we get rid of Rafa and put Holland in charge for the last 11 games, I'd be confident the team would rally around and we would get a top 4 spot

If we replace Rafa with a ****ing plant pot it would be a morale booster.

True... but we need a change. I'm going to Boro hoping we can pull off a cupset... Confidence is shot. Rafa has to go and he has to go now if we are to save our season

  7. If we can beat Arsenal, then we'll finish top 4, regardless of whether or not we beat you.

Make no mistake, though, lads, that we are a far, far better side than the one that you tore to pieces, at the start of the season.

Yes you are... we have swapped places. You win on Sunday you'll get in the top 4. Out of interest who do you think will get in the top 4 with you? Us or Arsenal?

Honestly I reckon Arsenal, and that's not because I'm on the Chelsea board, I said the same on ours. You chaps are in free-fall at the moment.

And the annoying thing is.... I agree. We are in free fall. If we keep this mug in charge we'll come 5th or maybe 6th... Rumours of a bust up as well... And this is a thread for all us Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal fans... it doesn't matter if it's on our board... just say what you honestly think

Next weekend is the north London derby - while we play WBA. We need to win - vital. Whatever the derby result, we can ether gain ground on Spurs or pull away from Arsenal. However if we lose - complete free fall probably.

Steve Clarke's already done the double over one of his old teams. <whistle>
Loses a potent option in Lukaku, though.

Spurs are by no means guaranteed top 4, the league table can change at the drop of a hat.

If Arsenal and Chelsea were to win the league looks like this.

    Chelsea....52
    Spurs.......51
    Arsenal.....50

Then all of a sudden Spurs have to go to Anfield with Chelsea and Arsenal having relatively comfy fixtures.

Things don't look good if your an Arsenal/Chelsea fan but momentum and seasons hinge on games like Sunday. Spurs were 7 in front of Chelsea and Arsenal this time last year.

Only when it gets to the last 5 games can we really start making realistic predictions. All of Chelsea's next 5 are winnable, I expect no less than 13 points, if that happens we will make top 4. 70 points (IMO) will be enough.

Is SUE fit? she must be if the players are going to get 4th for her.

As for the end of the season, we have the momentum and Bale is basically in such great form that he's unstoppable that I simply can't see us finishing outside the top four, as when a player like Bale goes into form (like RVP last year) the form doesn't stop, they get better and better.

3rd? it will go down to the wire and if you had a decent manager, it would be wrapped up by now, yet for me the North London Derby is the game which will determine if we can get 3rd, as if we win that in style, the confidence will take us to 3rd.

If we lose? I see Chelsea taking 3rd.

    Each sides merits: -

    Spurs for

    - Probably in the best form of the 3
    - A match winner in Bale atm
    - A sense of injustice from last season perhaps
    - Players rallying for the manager, good spirit etc

    Spurs against

    - Least experienced
    - Over reliance on Bale especially with Defoe out, what if he got injured
    - Toughest run in
    - Still in Europa

    Chelsea for

    - Haven't been as bad as Arsenal
    - Mata
    - have the best squad
    - Experienced

    Chelsea against

    - Form all over the place
    - Bad atmosphere at the club especially for home games
    - Manager may well have lost the players
    - Still currently have 2 other comp to play for

    Arsenal for

    - Chelsea could yet implode further
    - Nothing else to play for (Once the Bayern formality concluded)
    - Came good this time last year to steal 3rd
    - Not a bad run in

    Arsenal against

    - Are currently outside the top 4 and a loss this weekend could be a disaster
    - Look the weakest team atm
    - Have struggled for consistency all year
    - Tide turning against Wenger / home support becoming increasing vocal against the team
