I think it's fair to say Hampshire's plan with Vince batting at 5 is working well so far. (Vince will probably get out now I've said this).

 

The seamers have bowled far too short and wide to him, he is getting regular four balls from them...now he hits a six off the spinner!

 

Selfishly, I just hope that he has last chance for England already.

 

At this rate we'll make 400 on day 1.

 

He's got a ton anyway, absolutely top class innings.

We have a real chance this season if him and Daws don't get selected for England.

Could be nearer 450+ on the first day at this rate, mind you Leicestershire have been pretty poor.

 

It's pretty funny that a Leicestershire fan tweeted in about the follow on just after lunch!...

 

Yeah, Leicestershire are ****e but you've still got to play well to put on an unbeaten 165 partnership in less than a session!

 

Alsop at 3 and Vincey at 5 is definitely the way to go this season for the LVCC.

 

Vince like this is the best thing in cricket. His proper, full-on, "you're a useless bowler, wasting my time, who doesn't deserve to share the field with me" mode.

 

It's why I said yesterday that this is arguably must-win already. Leics should be the whipping boys of this group, so with a top two spot being the requirement, anyone who doesn't pick up two wins vs Leics will be up against it.

 

I reckon @ChilcoSaint must be sick of the sight of Sam Robson by now.

 

There’s no live streaming that I can find but apart from Robson our bowlers seem to be doing OK. If we can get him tonight it would be good!
