Gus Atkinson has replaced Overton. Pretty underwhelming. Fire meanwhile have replaced Bairstow and Plunkett with Graham White and Matt Milnes.
That's how you treat this Fire attack. Respect Ahmad, but look to attack the rest. I do get the feeling that this could be the start of Oval getting on a roll. They're still the team I fear the most, Ingram aside.
I'll be cheering on Spirit tomorrow. But if the Superchargers beat them (as they should), the table will be even tighter still. Would look proper incredible.
Good to see that Morgan has finally realised that he can drop a bowler and still leave himself with seven bowling options. Granted, it's come three games too late, but hey.
Crane's done his England chances no harm at all so far. The Hundred is a really big opportunity for him.
What is it with Spirit constantly getting their final five so wrong? Wood, then Cullen, now Amir. I can definitely see those extra runs being the difference here. From a chaseable score to a decent score.
Sorry, do you know how long the shuttle bus takes? I'm trying to reassure myself that an hour is enough time to get from the Rose Bowl to Southampton Airport Parkway. Damn the last train is always so early. Except from London for some reason, the last train from London is actually really late...
It really doesn't inspire any degree of confidence that we only just managed to beat Spirit. To think that we almost lost... Thursday should give a clearer indication as to whether we are on track or not.
Not a great start for England but hardly surprised. I thought India at 3/1 were pretty good odds so had a punt eith £10. Can't see England winning but the Nottingham weather may have something to say about a draw.
Worcs paying the price for starting too aggressively. Sure, a run rate of near 6.5 is nice after 10 overs but you don't really want to be 2 down as well. Makes you vulnerable.
