    My recollection is that it may still have been mathematically possible (although unlikely) that they could escape ... but that result definitely did it ... but it did also lead to the swashbuckling side under Tommy Doc that were a joy to watch ... 2 speedy wingers in Steve Coppell and Gordon Hill and Stuart Pearson and Jimmy Greenhoff bagging the goals <cheers>

    1) If Liverpool had billions from a sugar daddy, he'd be on here rubbing everyone's noses in every bit of success they bought.

    2) Despite all the grandstanding he'll be watching the CL semi-finals and the final like the rest of us <doh>
