Man City's FA Cup opponents since 2017/18: Burnley Cardiff Wigan Rotherham Burnley Newport Swansea Brighton Watford Port Vale Fulham Sheff Wed Newcastle Arsenal (final) Birmingham Cheltenham Not checked it, but that looks very dodgy if it's true. Not a single decent team in there...
I couldn't believe we won that after Trippier got injured and they scored the third. Almost instant equaliser for Alli, due to a Chelsea loanee's mistake and then Janssen missing that header left me happy with a replay. Son nicking the winner via a massive deflection made me feel rather sorry for them, to be honest.
I know it looks suspect, but the other traditional 'top 6' teams in this competition haven't had draws like that. Unless you think City possess more influence than the other 5 sides which, again, is plausible, but I don't think it's true. They're just jammy ****ers.
Influence or money? Someone definitely whispers Arsenal here, too: WTF? I don't think it's rigged. I'm not sure how they'd even do it reliably.
Crouch whispered 'Ah sorry' as he put one of the balls on the wrong side. Not 'Arsenal'. Take that tin foil hat off, PNP!
If you consider an "unlucky" draw to be drawing one of a set US of PL top 5 from the previous season, then in FA cup R3 other clubs have a 5/64 probability of being unlucky, and Citeh etc have a (5 - 1) / 64 probability. That basic principle applies for every round (with the size of US being adjusted as its members themselves are beaten) . I doubt the occurrences of US vs US draws over the years in domestic cup competitions (in general or dimensioned by round) is statistically significant.
What a ****ing piss-take. We're ramming in games left, right and centre, then we get an 8 day break, followed by more cramming. Monday, Thursday, Sunday. Arseholes.
I'm dreading our match with Saltypool is brought forward to the Monday and we play Wycombe midweek ...oh ****, I just gave somebody an idea, didn't I?
Back to FA Cup action this week v Everton. Its going to be a real test of this Spurs team's character, they are in decent form.
Tough one for me, if there’s is to be a best XI picked for this game or the City game I’d go for this one would like to get through
I think we`ll be knocked out by Everton, this is their only chance of a trophy and they won`t need to rotate any of their best XI, they will be bang up for it and our good run in the cups has to come to an end at some point. I hope I am wrong but I won`t be putting any money on it.
