After a rather underwhelming transfer window (again), do we need to look at some of the freebies available? Whilst obviously not the best players in the world are going to be available, can we afford to be picky at the moment! Some of the names available being: Anderson (formerly of Utd) Sebastien Bassong Anthony Stokes Dexter Blackstock Whilst we may struggle with wages, should our transfer department (if it exists) not be looking to sell the players on loan for good, trying to get some of the utter ****ers to agree to ending their contracts by mutual consent... Sorry state of affairs right now...
We have to show some faith in the squad that we have, get behind them and hope for a change of fortune. Coleman has my full backing, so far he has been a breath of fresh air, and we must support him to the hilt. None of the players mentioned above would have the same impact as getting or own players up and running again, but with the new recruits adding to the mix, more performances in the manner of the Hull game are required, and if we get them we should be OK - just.
