    Absolutely. I'm very selective about which meetings I attend, but some simply cannot be avoided, even though there's only a little bit of it that gives value. The fact I can do it remotely, and only be there for the necessary bits, really creates a lot more time, and cuts expenses. As I mentioned, it also broadens the horizons on who I can discuss things with.

    It's a no brainer in so many ways.

    It's not just that, sometimes there are people you really need to speak to face to face, and meetings are about the only opportunity. If they can be done remotely, it just makes perfect sense.

    However, this is more about social chit chat on the likes of these forums, and pondering of there are ways of enhancing it, particularly if it helps people that feel isolated from other forms of chit chat for whatever reason.

    I never particularly liked phones. I much prefer to call people on Teams rather than phone calls. That may change when people I want to contact are back in offices rather than working from home.
    I'm not sure I'd buy into it socially though. My incredibly witty posts do take time to compile, I couldn't do it spontaneously.

    PS I have just editted this. Something else you can't do live.
