Jamie Vardy has been talking about Claude Puel “We got along well, but I felt that the pace of his training was too slow, to the point that it was complicated for us to be fast and aggressive in a match," “All the people who play sports know that if you train in a certain way, you will not be able to radically change your way of competing. "It was like preparing a marathon and the day of the match, we were asked to run a 100m. "It was nice to give the our best, but it did not work, and it was frustrating." “Last January, the general atmosphere at the club was a low because we weren't winning," he said. "So I thought I was going to lighten up the atmosphere by training disguised as Spider-Man” “Why Spider-Man? Because my training boots are blue and red, and I wanted everything to match” "In the end it was too hot, so I took off the suit after the warm-up, but it made the entire team laugh, so it worked out "That day, I also hid behind a bush as Spider-Man and scare the staff. I don't know if it made Claude laugh."
You can only read so many articles before it beings up a paywall - I used my free trial during the transfer window.
Its a weird one. It pops up very rarely with me but if you close the article and reopen it then it beats the paywall for me
£7M is just greed and money grabbing but £25K isnt enough imo I completely King Power shouldnt be liable but goodwill says we should offer something decent but not in a million years anything remotely close to £7M
Most on here go to the home games so match threads are not very well 'attended'. You won't get a lot though as Fosse and JTF will probably be on the PL board matchday thread! However, all you usually get out of me is something along the lines of: "Vardy! Foxes X-X "
I think it’s because we are still primarily a locally supported club. As you say, the ones of us who are still local enough go to games. We have our ex pats like Miami and NZ. I’m away days, depending on what is happening across the games, the PL board can be fun
It is being dubbed "WAG Wars" - lets be honest, it is Chav Wars. The biggest embarrassment is that it is actually a leading headline in the news - the Americanation of our country is depressing. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/oct/09/coleen-rooney-rebekah-vardy-twitter-wag-wars
Me personally I couldnt care less what Rebakah Vardy says or does aslong as it doesnt distract Jamie from banging in the goals
I cant understand for the life of me why the wags get airtime. Victoria Beckham started the wag culture but she is famous in her own right from the Spice Girls. People like Coleen and Rebekah are no ones without marrying a footballer. Why does anyone care what they do or say?
Lets be honest, she was the worst one in the spice girls who only got over by marrying David Beckham, which inadvertently lead to wag culture.
