I would hope Celtic fans also support the SNP more. Anyhow, elements of their support are SF sympathisers. However, if you look at their core support, from Catholic Irish who were enslaved by their British masters for centuries, there is bound to be some hostility towards the British state, particularly when the Tories are the ruling party.

That said, I would love Gers and Celtic supporters to shun their centuries old loyalties and get behind the SNP, because after all they are Scottish.

Glad I'm not the only one who can't stand their support. Up the Gers.

I really can't understand how people in this country will dislike a club whose supporters align themselves with the union of the UK. Yet they seem to fall over themselves in praise of Celtic who have an element more aligned to the Irish Republic and support of the IRA.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-40788465

Sectarianism is also an issue, but for both clubs. Going by the media you would think it was just a Rangers problem.

    Back to football....

    How big is tonight!
    Norwich V Watford.
Hard to say who needs this more.
All I hope for is blood and thunder. Got both of these coming up.
0-0 & 3 reds, & a few not serious injuries. Suit you sir.

Do you really want Watford visiting St Marys still looking for their first win?

Two points rather than three. That's all I can think tonight.
Pressures on for all our games now.

Barça are top, Celta are 18th, and have scored 7 goals in 13 games.

    You’ll be fine.
