Morning all from another misty start in Paris, last day here on the way home this evening. Disaster has struck though, the other half gets a UK TV feed through the interweb but today for some reason it is not working<yikes> Looks like a DVD day then:( Just going to pop down and do some shopping then I will be mainly watching a boxset of 'Over-There' an USA Iraq war series which I picked I think it was in Afghan or indeed could have been Iraq itself! Anyway I shall keep my eye on the Nest throughout the day.

Norway, hope your x-rays go ok and I will send you a message should the oils have arrived at Gloucester.

Morning all, hope you're all having a fab day. I did a very manly thing today and forgot our wedding anniversary..oops! Better nip out soon and get a card or something lol. We're off to the theatre tonight to see that James Corden play, which is supposed to be very funny, which probably means it'll be disappointing coz it's been so hyped! I'll have to wait and see :).

Thanks for the caramel latte Ak :)

DVDs all day sounds like a lovely day to me Al! lol

Good! I hope they go okay :)

    It's still painful to watch!

Hmm, probably not too far off, though i think we'll win it!

Buy a new diary round about now. First act...write in next wedding anniversary - November 2012. Some time next August/September...lose diary. Early November...try and think of subtle way of asking Mrs H exactly which day of the month it was.

He seems to have the hump about something...

I always remember our wedding aniversary date and Mrs W_Y birthday as it's the same day as my old Dad's...it's the kids birthdays that I have to really think hard on...of course Mrs W_Y remembers every date to the nearest second!

Just got back a 40 min train ride in about a twenty min walk to the Xray place (helpfully labelled as eye clinic!!!) In and out in half an hour after being relieved of Nok 200(£20) 20 min walk back to train station only had to wait 3 mins for a train ! Back home in about 3 hours:) Wait for a few days then make an appointment to see the Doc!

Afternoon all. Just wandered in, thought I was in the wrong place for a moment*! Very nice, Ak. BTW could you put me down for tea with milk (skimmed for preference), no sugar.

    * Reminds me of a story in Tony Hawk's book 'Round Ireland With a fridge'....
Somewhere out on the wild west coast he was regaled with the tale of the local ne'er-do-well who was always in trouble with the law. Up before the beak one day he marches in and says, 'I don't recognise the court!!!'
'What do you mean, Seamus? These are the same three magistrates you've seen umpteen times before. The clerk is the same, so's the usher. It's a properly constituted court of law.'
'No, no, it's just that you've redecorated since I was last in here.'
