wasn't it more that a lot of teams packed their defences against us and the attack couldn't break them down?

Not much of a surprise given that everyone who voted must be still alive.

The Trust are going to validate and support this?

Dunno if I should be surprised or not.

Hopefully, they're going along to tell the ****s that it should be the Hull City Hall Of Fame.

Unlikely. Won’t help if they did. But they’ll be vindicating that sort of press release.

Just to be clear, we're not running anything.

City invited us to have a representative on the panel selecting the initial inductees into their new Hall of Fame. The invite mentioned an initial meeting of the panel some time soon. That invite clearly stated "Hull City Hall of Fame" and no other name was used.

At our board meeting earlier this week, we discussed how they'd probably try to put 'Hull City Tigers' on the awards, and agreed as a board that our first contribution would be to inform the club that if there's any of that nonsense then we'll be playing no part in it.

Now we see it's been announced as the 'Tigers Hall of Fame' which is a load of ****. My view is we'll ask them to change that and if they refuse then we won't be involved.

    One, actually.

More specifically, I was happy with the spread given how these things tend to have a bias towards the very recent. Any pre-watt inductees will hopefully be sorted next year.

Thanks for the reply PLT. My issues were with other things not connected to the HCST. And I agree with all of the above. Good luck to you on the naming side of things. Sadly, the club doesn't seem to be able to help itself where the branding is concerned.

Could you just remind us all of the circumstances under which Hull FC owner and football consultant Adam Pearson (number 14) was sacked by Hull City. Instant dismissal with no severance pay iirc

    Ticketgate?

    Was he sacked?

I didn’t think he was an employee.

The Allams try to sack everyone with no severance pay, it really isn't a reflection on anyone involved.

He wasn't doing what he was doing for Hull City as an act of charity, he was described as a consultant and was heavily involved in the day to day running of the club during the Pearson/Barmby period. He was also owner of Hull FC at the time and was instantly dismissed from his role before Barmby left the club.

He did far more good for City than the Allams have done and damaged us far less, maybe the Allams can instantly dismiss themselves in light of this?

Once again PLT your unhealthy Hatred of the Allams is deflecting you from seeing the truth of what actually happened.

History may well throw this version of events into doubt.
