Apparently no Rangers players will accept wage cuts even if players are made redundant. No doubt Leggo will have a go at Celtic's John Hartson, a good friend if Peter Lawwell, for that one.
the wee man asked to be released and waived any redundancy package I wasnt aware they would be offered redundancy packages?
It was just on the news that a proposal put to the admin by the players today was rejected. So the axe is about to fall. The details of that proposal have not been released.
There was some mention on news night Scotland last night about the cost of getting rid of players and staff. It didn't sound like you could just get hoofed out.
Naturally, this is all Hartson's fault.........and Lawell's, Lloyds Bank, Fred Goodwin, Neil Lennon, Craig Whyte, Pope John Paul, Uncle Tom Cobley and any Celtic season book holders.
Apparently, it was a wage deferral proposal put to the admin by the players. Meeting with the players ongoing as we speak. Job cuts could be 11 or more players.
