Well the good news is Red Bull, they're really right up there now. If Ferrari can get a working car we'll have a 4/5 driver battle.
Seriously though, I'd bloody love to see Hamilton race the 500 or a full Indy season at some point. Still hoping Alonso joins in next season.
Even if he has an engine penalty, the Merc is so quick on a track like the USA that Hamilton could easily drive up to 5th from last as a minimum. Possible even 3rd depending on how Red Bull get on, and Raikonnen who is turd.
True, brilliant team effort. Really gotta say Mercedes collectivley are superb, never far from producing the best they can at that particular moment in time.
Woke up early for that! Ferrari reliability, or lack of is/has robbed us of a great fight for the title and recent races have been poorer for it! Would Vettel have beaten Hamilton today, don't know.. it looked like once Hamilton was ahead he just managed his pace to stay out of DRS, managing his engine too.. Would have been nice to be given the opportunity to find out... Redbull's are flying in the races and that could be a big help or hindrance to Vettel.. if they take points of Hamilton then great, but the other way round and Hamilton could tie up the 4th title in Austin! Barring DNFs for Hamilton, he can coast home and win the WDC, he doesn't even have to win any more races, just stay out of trouble!
Back to back races now for Alonso getting mixed up with squabbles under the blue flag. Not sure why apply this today when it wasn’t even looked at in Sepang? Does anybody now what the criteria is for the VSC over the safety car?
