From what I saw of him he wont be missed that's for sure .. although with mad dog Magennis being banned would have been nice to have a back up for Eaves

Cant see him doing the hold up role but if he gets his chance good luck to the lad.

I think he'll be used as more of a playmaker style forward, rather than the two battering rams we have normally. From what I've seen, he does have great link up play, but then I don't know how what I've seen will translate into Championship match time.

Dan Batty has been ill, hence his absence from the last two match day squads, he's now resumed training.

    Jonty Colman @JontyColman
Norbert Balogh did not require a scan on his calf injury. Has a chance of featuring for #hcafc on Saturday. Grant McCann and physios uncertain of exact return date but it is not as serious as first feared.

Referee was wrong on that as were Forest supporters and their goalie (who is a nutter). Awful foul deserved a sending off in the context of the game (after Magennis had walked for something not as bad).

A message from Jon Toral, I must be getting soppy, brought a tear to the eye, hoping he has a speedy recovery, look forward to seeing him back on the pitch soon.

    Hi Hull City family,
As you might know I’ve had a little surgery on my knee and will be out for a few months. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you – the fans – for your support since I’ve been at the Club, especially the past couple of weeks.

What you have made me feel in the last few weeks puts me in the right place to come back from this setback as a better player and person, so thank you.

To hear my name shouted out from the away fans after the win against Nottingham Forest, to feel the appreciation after the home win vs Derby and to cap it off with a brilliant win away at Fulham and feel that connection with the fans means a lot to me.

The open session playing with the kids at the KCOM was another great experience, and the gaffer has to take a lot of credit for making so many young boys and girls so happy. It’s something that I probably wouldn’t have taken so much notice of a couple of years back but now, with two little boys of my own, it’s something I appreciate a lot.

There is nobody more frustrated than me to have to stop now but there is also nobody more motivated and hungry to get back out there doing what I love and helping the boys back on the pitch. Meanwhile, I’ll do my best to help off it.

People might think I’ve not had much luck but, with the family I’ve created with my wife and the people I’ve got to know during this journey, I can count myself very lucky.

Also I would like to thank my team-mates for always having my back, and to the gaffer, cliff and all the staff, for helping me getting back to loving and enjoying this beautiful game.

    See you all very soon.

With love and gratitude, Jon Toral.

    UTT
