I didn't realise Sheffield Wednesday Vs Bolton was last night I presume you won't take the bet money??
Glad I didn't bet, because I would have placed on Forest Green when I looked, although I hadn't looked properly so had missed the Fleetwood odds.
If you've ever seen Forest Green you wouldn't bet anything on them ever brb, It was the strangest game I think I've ever seen. I've seen teams set out for a draw and park a bus. I've seen teams waste so much time the Ref has given up the will to live. I have never seen a team who are bottom of the League and desperate for points set up to defend a deficite of one and then repeat for a deficite of two, Damage limitation is all well and good if goal difference comes into it but when you are adrift?????? The worst team I have seen in years and if playing in League two they would be bottom there as well. My son had to wake me up twice.......
Tuesday nights, mid winter, freezing my nuts off watching someone like Morecambe, nigh finished me off when I was a few years younger than I am now, L2 football and Gillingham Football Club have a lot to answer for. No word of a lie, the last two games I went to, I ended up ill for two weeks after them, once fine, but twice tells me I'm getting too old for this lark. So this coming Tuesday night I'll be watching IFollow for the cheaper price of ten pounds lol.
That is the problem with mid-week games a couple I have been to a few years ago, for me it's a two hour trip home normally, midweek clear run it's midnight. Then they decide to shut one of the motorways or even both of the ones I would use, you are looking at 3 or 4 hrs to get home. As you say Ron to bloody old when it's £10 to watch on the telly instead of £20 to get in & the beer is cheaper at home. I have to say though it's not the same & I do miss going to the odd midweek game.
