Ian Poveda Columbian parents 19 year old. Left footed Youth player for Man City. Previously with Arsenal and Barcelona. Had to leave Barca as theu has restrictions on buying youth players. At short notice Poveda ended up at Brentford, but was poached by Manchester City within months. Scouted as being 1st team for Leeds.
I wouldn’t argue with the gist of that, but I’m not talking about overall performance and benefit to the team - I’m responding to someone saying bamford’s scoring record is good this season... and providing some evidence to support my belief that it isn’t really that great. More fool me, I should just type YOU’RE WRONG YOU ******* ***** in time honoured Internet forum fashion.
It looks like you've had a jolly good time discussing the merits or otherwise of Bamford. So the general opinion seems to be that he is not too bad but could be better. I'm so pleased that some clarity has been brought to resolve this perplexing question. It's all in the emoji which is statistically inaccurate, in a subjective world.
Great as long as he has more desire to be in the team than Clarke ended up with, he could be a real asset.
Clarke needs to get his finger out and start making an effort with someone or he’ll end up in lower divisions. Sad to say but a Waste of talent so far
that is now the official forum stance and no alternative opinions will be tolerated. I’m 97.3% sure of that
Was that, that nasty WJ ? Caught him teasing ' our Heidi ' with his crude wordplay yesterday so don't you let him bully you
I love stats but everyone who likes stats or works with stats appreciates that stats can be used to prove or disprove whatever you want. i agree with Jammy as he has a weak right side and thats deffo cost him goals as he took a touch too many last week against Arsenal to use his left and it was smothered. His head is also either out of shape or too small because he tends to get a couple of chances with his head where he misses the ball or it skims off at an angle way off target. Heading ability is a problem.
After watching the first half of Sheff U v West Ham we really should have no problems holding our own next season...all subject to not monumentally cocking it up again this season of course. Sheff U are industrious at best and they are top 10 in the PL ???? Add in all the other dross and I can see Bielsa having us playing a brand of football which most teams won't be able to live with.
yep, our football will be plenty good enough... the only concerns are: prem sides have better skills to beat the press and more danger on the break - so we’ll need to add a bit of pace at the back in my view the other obvious worry is we don’t take our chances at this level... and will get fewer of them a level up so, some added quality at both ends of the pitch required but I don’t subscribe to needing a complete overhaul.
How Declan Rice gets in the England team god only knows... Think Southgate needs to get his arse down to ER tomorow.
You made me wonder there - has his conversion rate been consistent, patchy, improving, or degrading? Does your source specify?
it depends what sort of regression analysis you apply to the data and which way the wind is blowing Top of the league !
Colin just can't help himself, can he? ..... https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sp...EawnizXLzR2nPGls0hdfY1jpLbEys0NO-aBVj4nc5dS2Q
Is this the one where he says WBA and Leeds haven't got the best squad, or the best striker but are top of the league only because they keep winning? That man should go fly a plane?
