    Evening all

I’m not sure how I feel about the 49ers having a greater role and say on matters. Radz, Orta, Bielsa they work as a trio. I’m not convinced on Orta myself but Bielsa is happy with the set up and that’s what matters.

Bring in an American vice chairman and his vision, will Bielsa feel differently, I’ve a feeling this could spell Bielsas last season with us.

    Too soon to say obviously.

Trying to be positive though...hopefully the 49ers know all about brand profile and raising that worldwide. To me that means being competitive near the top of the Leauge, qualifying for European competitions and competing in FA Cup finals that are broadcast all around the globe.

Also they dipped their toe in a couple of seasons ago and so the fact they're now investing further surely has to be a good sign <ok>

    Things to be positive about:
    • The 49ers investment arm bought into the club a couple of years ago. The investment arm is separate from the 49ers operational people, and they are in it for the long term when they see value in a particular company. They see profit.
    • The 49ers understand franchising and American sport models, like the AFL and Tv rights. There will be a new tv rights deal in the UK very soon and that may involve the Premier League setting up its own broadcasting operation. Whatever way things go Leeds Utd will be ahead of the game due to this partnership and dont forget Radz is a top guy himself on marketing sports in the Far East

The yanks just love the greenback it's all about the money, they don't like backing a loser that's for sure.....I know my dad was one! The only concern is if they just make a fast "buck" and get outta dodge:emoticon-0138-think

Radz has a plan to get Leeds into Europe within the next 5 years, which is exactly what every Leeds fan want. So he had a plan to get us promoted within 5 years which the yanks were part of, and he did it. The yanks obviously bout into his vision for the next 5 years too and with a lot of cash. So if we get into Europe within 5 years I dont care how much money Radz and 49ers take in profit because the club will have got back onto the world stage and will be earning....
