Morning all,

Phillips being missing always affects us in a big way but I also think a lot of the problem is also Raph, Costa & Cooper missing also.

We had to make too many changes to cover for these players which left the team disjointed and unable to get into a rhythm.

Koch's first start in defensive mid on Saturday. To me he was ok without being spectacular, the team is used to Phillips being spectacular.

Dallas moved to the right to cover Costa meaning Klich, who sadly has been mostly ineffectual this season, started for the first time in a while. This did not work and we lost what Dallas gives us in the middle.

Once again Struijk was good cover for Cooper although could have got closer to Welbeck for the second.

Alioski displaying all that is wrong with his game on Saturday. He has had a good run of games recently which is the good part of his game but he always has that moment of craziness in him. You cannot give a penalty away like that. 1-0 down after that and Brighton made themselves very hard to break down.

I feel for Bamford as the last few games he has been marked out of the games. This is the danger of playing one striker. Brighton have big defenders and when Bamford is surrounded by three of them he is never going to win balls played in. Personally for me I think Bielsa got it wrong subbing him for Rodrigo. I would have liked to have seen both on providing support for Bamford.


Too many injuries, crazy penalty and not Bielsas best day mean we could not extend our unbeaten run. Thankfully in the grand scheme of things it doesnt matter but it would have been nice to keep winning.

 

well it must be true then !! the beeb is the place to go for no nonsense straight up truth....if she contemplated suicide over some twitteratti and other name calling then sorry love, you are in the wrong profession you know it isn't social media surely, it's a minefield with differing opinions floating round the stratosphere from all kinds of people..good/bad/vile/nice/freaks etc so if you think everyone is going to tell you that you are the best thing since sliced bread and hang on every utterance as if it is from the mouth of a top coach/player then sorry you ain't going to cut it in punditry..accept good and bad comments or move on to something else
