Yes we do, Imagine having him to bring on instead of the under 23 player we brought on against Cardiff,also good in the air, we would have conceded less from set pieces, and scored more as well, White is great on the ground, but his weakness is his heading.

Pontus Jansson has said he was sold to Brentford because Leeds “saw they could make some money” and hinted that his relationship with Marcelo Bielsa was not optimal because of language issues.

The defender joined Brentford late on Monday on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. His performances last season earned him a place in the Championship team of the year and his campaign was notable also for attempts to ignore Bielsa’s call for Leeds to allow Aston Villa to equalise against them.
“Leeds needed to sell to balance the books because of FFP and they saw that they could make some money out of me,” Jansson told the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. “I said to my agent [Martin Dahlin] that I wanted to stay in England when this situation arose. There have been several tempting offers from various clubs but I am happy here and have made a name for myself in this country.

“My ambition is to play in the Premier League but I didn’t want to sit and wait for the right club in the Premier League to make an offer later in the summer and let this chance [to join Brentford] pass me by. I felt early on that Brentford was right for me.

“I have always liked to have a close relationship with my coach. Like the relationship I had with Roland Nilsson or Rikard Norling for example. That hasn’t been as easy with Bielsa and one reason for that is the language.

“I regard Bielsa very highly, as one of the absolute best coaches I have worked with. He is special, believes in his idea to the max and I have learned a lot from him.”

Afternoon all....

December - Stronger than strong possibility that Nketiah is going back... Orta should have went to Southampton and Watford and said we want to sign Adams/Gray next month on loan, view to a permanent, whatever, tell us what it is going to cost.

These clubs could have knocked him back there and then enabling him to move on to the next target. (Like many I know but) I’m so pissed off that everyone saw this coming but we piss around chasing unreal targets after he has gone.

If we had a reserve striker at the club it would be different but we don’t, we went into the season wondering if one and a loan were enough. Why haven’t we scouted a replacement during October/November/December?

Did nobody ask Bielsa “hey why isn’t Nketiah playing, you know he has a recall clause if he hasn’t played enough games?” Did nobody catch on that Bielsa didn’t rate Nketiah good enough to start ahead of Bamford, did they not think “okay were going to need someone better suited come January?”...

 

There are a small number of us on here who said right from the start that Radrizzani was a chancer and I personally would not pay Orta out in brass farthings as a point of interest does anyone know how much Radrizzani
Orta Kinnear are taking out of the club.

 

I’d imagine it’s a sizable sum well buried in miscellaneous or some such heading in accounts. I don’t think they’re obliged to itemise each persons salary

 

I think that’s the frustration... it wasn’t too hard for Bristol city to cut a deal with arsenal for nketiah (granted they almost got him in August, so they knew the score)... why do we not have our bases covered.
I appreciate January is difficult but other clubs seem to get business done... but it’s always a ballache for us. Why is someone even wasting time on an Italian 18 year old keeper... I’m sure he’s great but hardly a priority.

 

Other teams use money, we want top players on loan or for free.
