Chris Bryant, Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, called on the government to publish all the details of the blatant fix that saw the Spammers named as tenants of the White Elephant or he will join calls for a full public inquiry: "To all intents and purposes, this is a contract which gives West Ham the stadium at a peppercorn rent at most or, to be honest, for no rent whatsoever," Bryant told the BBC.

I hate to say we told you so, but...

  2. Bad things will happen to the Spanners, and they'll end up wishing they never got that stadium.

Never mind. Karen Brady can always get her kit off and pose for one of the porn duo's mags.

No, wait a minute. Maybe they should think about that one...

  4. You're talking about a Readers' Wives Special?

  5. Actually, I was mildly disappointed to be told by a Spanner that West Ham's match-day program didn't have a Readers' Wives section, at the back. I think Sullivan and Gold are missing a trick, there.

Have to admit that i kinda imagined a sort of Chris Brunt own goal type scenario.
I think he might have broken his own nose, or so i heard.....

  12. Former Manchester United captain Bryan Robson believes Pedro would be a good signing for the Red Devils.

Chris Waddle says: "United are lacking a presence, someone up front who can control the game and score goals."

You mean like the bloke they sold to Fenerbahce for peanuts?

He'd be a good signing for anybody. Class act.

"(Many people) love Chelsea to lose a game." - Jose Moronho

Has it ever occurred to you that you're the main reason?

    That's a little harsh, Croydon.
People have hated Chelsea for a long time and will continue to do so when Mourinho gets the boot again.
    He doesn't help though, obviously.

There was certainly a lot less schadenfreude for Chelsea losses when Ancelotti was in charge.

  19. My reason for not liking Chelsea, in recent times, has been Mad Dog and his arrogance.

The Smug One, I have never had a real problem with, because he's a clown, and superb entertainment. Also, anyone who can wum Wenger like he does has got to be given some credit!

Isn't being a Spurs supporter enough reason to dislike Chelsea?
