Woy won't save them, he'll just prolong the suffering. GT must be pulling some strings from up there.
The reason the owner did it was so the fans would give the new manager and the owner time like until after the jan window to turn things around
Fair point - maybe De Boer and the owners had a row about transfers. Not sure Sakho for example would be a typical De Boer signing!
Interesting comment under the BBC article about Rodgers' said that Celtic played like u-12s at times against PSG: "Celtic were so bad they would have been beaten by the BFG"
Tough red card at the end though. Man City looking in scoring mood again - hopefully used up all their goals!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41266159 Typical of the BBC - they take every opportunity to denigrate Scotland. Up 15 places in the world rankings but still trumpeted as 'lowest in Britain'. And they conveniently fail to highlight that Wales have jumped over England - as well as strangely including Ireland & Nth Ireland as part of Britain.
German Cologne louts are trying to break into the Emirates for Arsenal's game with Cologne. Game delayed for 1 hour. They should call the game off for safety reasons. It will also teach the louts that bad behaviour is counter productive.
They should have given Cologne a realistic amount of tickets for the match - 3,000 is pitifull, but still no excuse for such senseless behaviour.
Surely another reason for Brexit, unruly foreign supporters behaving badly. Not like reliable English fans
In the Emirates as a home fan... ashamed of Arsenal right now. All the warnings about turning away fans away and they've done nothing. No stewards to be seen. Feeling so intimidated. Text from Arsenal fan. Seems as if this has been on the cards for some time. Typical English attitude of putting money ahead of everything.
I don't know if this is correct, but jerzeypie told me the ticket allocation for away fans is based on the rules for the leagues of the home teams, which is why Barcelona get away with only 2,000 tickets for away fans in a stadium that holds 90,000.
I know I'M getting way way ahead of myself(although perhaps not if we win today), buy is our stadium 'valid ' for hosting European games?
I would imagine it would be - especially after watching some of the recent games, both club and country, which appear to have been played in 'less grandiose' arenas. Might be worth a bit of research though...
