Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Spurs.
Not considered good enough for the proposed European Super League?
Some reports saying that he is against it and cannot work with the club going down that route.
Flaky results as well..... but crazy times in football
Wouldn’t be surprised - he is a traditional football man who will speak his mind.
I read that he refused to take training in protest of the club's position with the ESL.
Only last week there was this video.
Maybe they knew.
Investment bank JP Morgan says it regrets supporting the despised ESL. “We clearly misjudged how this deal would be viewed by the wider football community and how it might impact them in the future. We will learn from this.” (It had provided a €3.5bn grant to the dirty dozen).
Many will say they could spend that money on much more worthy causes.
Does "had provided" mean that the dirty dozen have already trousered the money? If so, should they not be paying it back?
Never mind the Super league - Arsenal are barely good enough for a top half Premier league team !
: Hull City can confirm that it has formally begun the procedures to withdraw from Sky Bet League One and join 23 clubs in a new competition, the Sky Bet Championship.
Love a spot of fun.
Going down the rugby route of even if anything is accidental there has to be punishment.
But they have the fall back of the sin bin rather than straight red cards.
Pinching - and adapting - that...
Boycott of social media for 4 days from the 30th.
From the BBC:
“Premier League, English Football League and Women's Super League clubs will join in a four-day boycott of social media platforms in an effort to combat abuse and discrimination.
The boycott will start on 30 April.
The Football Association, as well as league bodies and other organisations, including anti-discrimination charity Kick it Out, will also be involved”
Exactly what was needed....... unregulated social media is not fit for purpose.....

what stands out to me is the following:
Brentford's automatic promotion hopes look slim, and after losing the play-off final last season, they will hope history does not repeat itself.
I would probably say that their automatic promotion hopes are non-existent
Fans back at Premier league grounds In May.
Be nice to see with next season in mind.
Hopefully all goes well.
Guess the play-offs will be the same.
We don't have that worry of course!
Classic case of fans celebrating too early at Bolton!
And how lucky are Peterborough here to get this promotion winning penalty?!
Szmodics Is a disgrace. To pump his fists as well, marks him out to be a colossal cheating arse.
