Sorry to hear that. Very sad. Yes - think Wycombe might win these play-offs. No real pressure and are good in one off games. We have been linked to the MK Dons manager - probably why they lost!
A stop clock to try and end time wasting. Would it work ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61342349 Do officials need to be braver punishing such antics and added more time on maybe .
If they're going to look at rules from other sports, they may be better served looking at adapting some of Basketball's time limits. 24 second rule - once in possession of the ball in an opponents half, 24 seconds to have a shot or lose possession 8 second rule - would be my favourite, the amount of time allowed in your own half with possession, after which you have to get it into the opponents half or lose possession 5 second rule - the amount of time players can shield the ball at, say, the corner flag before having to pass - or, again, lose possession. Those should speed things up and stop timewasting...
I'll bet Northampton are feeling sick - if they hadn't conceded a goal against Barrow they would have gone up. I'd be demanding a steward's enquiry into that 7-0 scoreline...
Bloody Leicester - currently losing 1-2 at home to Everton. Which has pushed Everton up out of the last relegation spot, and Leeds down into it.
Just about my favourite away-day, Huddersfield... I'd rather they didn't, purely for selfish reasons!
Current form would suggest that. Luton lost 7-0 to Fulham, Fulham then lost 4-0 to Sheff. Utd. I know it doesn't work that way though - so I'm going with the belief that Luton won't get past Huddersfield.
I see SSN are reporting that Northampton have "spoken to" the authorities about Scunthorpe's team against Bristol Rovers. Nothing about what was actually said or if anything will come of it though.
