Creed 2 Electric Boogaloo, Rocky nostalgia 6.9/10

 

Started season 3 of Stranger Things, probably the most overrated TV show out there. Might bin it.

 

Been told by a few people to try that. Not been fussed as of yet

 

Dat **** is whack dawg. I know that because the gf watches it.
I saw the 1st 2 seasons and thought it was forgettable, really don't get the hype tbh, I won't bother with season 3


Just watched Rush, about nicky lauder and James hunt, im not into formula one at all so had no clue who these two were but it's a decent film tbh 6.7/10

Creed 2 - it's OK for a one time watch 6.8/10

Triple x 3 - hilariously terrible, for that reason it gets a 6.1/10

 

This series isn't as good as previous.

 

I didn't think season 1 or 2 was that great tbh, doesn't warrant the hype for me.

 

I don't think the hype was for you anyway mate...

 

Neither do I, just don't get why people like it so much.

Its okay but nothing special imo

 

Watched the first episode of Mindhunter, so far so good.

 

That's very good, hope there's a 2nd series.

 

There is deffo a season 2 coming says so on netflix, wicked show

 

I couldn't even make it all the way through Creed 2. I found it dull and just a bad rehash of the main tropes from previous, better, boxing films, the Rocky films included, obviously

 

I think they cast Turgoose because when he was very young he was essentially the character he was playing, in attitude and the way he spoke and his mannerisms, if not in background exactly, so really he didn't have to act. If you watch footage of his audition you can see that's what they were looking for, just a kid who would be authentic and who was somewhat naive/innocent but a bit cocky and not afraid to say what he thought, and also not self-conscious or self-aware about acting. I think as he got older he obviously grew out of that and had to start to act more as the character moved into adulthood, and I don't think he's so good at that and just average, if not slightly below.

 

Yeah can't argue with that, it was one to watch with my youngest, ok like.

 

Summer of 92
8/10 really enjoyed it. It's about Denmark winning the Euros.

 

TheGirl in a Spiders Web 7/10. Follow up to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo books, but by a different author. Decent enough watch, but not a patch on the Swedish versions of the original 3 books in the series written by Stieg Larsson

Its probably old but 1st time I saw it.

 

I didn't like the first film so didn't watch the 2nd.

 

Beats (Netflix film) - 2.5/10
