Very enjoyable and a bit different, but not up to the level of the reviews I read, so yeah, you two are right. A little over just 'decent'. 7.3
Disclaimer- Spoiler Alert: I didn’t know what the film was going to be about when I watched it...and when that hippie guy turned up creeping around on the street I knew straight away it was Manson. I can see why people think the film is pointless because they don’t know about the Manson family and what actually happened. like Inglorious Bastards and Django, Tarantino twisted history so the bad guys get their asses kicked. Everyone knows Hitler wasn’t mowed down by a hail of bullets in a theatre. In reality, the Manson family killed a stunt actor at Spahn ranch because they saw him as threat with the authorities. A long haired blond hippie was convicted for that murder. In the film, Brad Pitt’s stuntman kicks the **** out of a blond haired hippie at the ranch. Margot Robbie’s role (as Sharon Tate) in the film has no direction or purpose to a naive watcher. But the night at the end of the film was the night when the real life Sharon Tate and her friends were murdered by the Manson family, but instead they get their asses whooped in Tarantino fashion. I loved it.
Last night I watched Knives Out. 8/10 Classic whodunit murder mystery with an Agatha Christie crossed with Cluedo feel. I thought it was different to other movies of this Genre (but I haven’t seen them all). I also fell in love with Ana de Armas. #iwould
Just watched split as it was on the tv. Much better the 2nd time of watching it tbh. Got me in th3 mood so im gonna stick on glass now
Titans season 2 of a lot better, same with Lost in Space. If you can narrow through the first seasons of these two it's well worth it.
