    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Dave passed away on Saturday after his battle with cancer.

    I don't visit here much but have spoken to Dave many times in the past. Lovely man and a real shame he has gone from us.

    A really lovely person who will be missed by his many friends. After his long and painful battle with cancer I am happy to know that he no longer suffers, but will miss him as he wished us good morning and good night. Very sad evening. RIP Dave. <rose>

    Very saddened by this. A kind and generous man, with a great sense of humour, who I had the pleasure of sharing a few meals and beers with when he came up to Norfolk, even a couple of trips to the famed Chip Inn on the bus. Man, we knew how to party!
