So anyone know what they are doing to the pitch? Is seems as if they are stripping it right back, maybe part of the maintenance regime? Also anyone else wonder if as they clear out all the cupboards and rooms in the main stand if any long lost memorabilia will be found
I think the pitch is just the scheduled maintenance. By stripping off the old grass they allow new growth and rejuvenation which makes the pitch stronger and better. As for memorabilia I hear they found the key to the safe in there.
Strange that the PL have different changing rooms to the Championship. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...till_targeting_summer_opening_for_East_Stand/
I believe the correct term is 'scarifying'. Though what they are doing to the pitch is anyone's guess.
Demolition of the "old-new" Main Stand Extension due to start June 9 apparently according to the WO. I must admit that the current look of the new stand reminds me of so many of the old fourth division grounds that we visited in the 70s. I am so looking forward to seeing it extended to its full range.
I think that the pitch is being dug up so that the club can get maximum returns from it by growing a catch crop of salad.
I watched the programme, I thought I'd seen them all, but I don't remember that one! Brilliant comedy!
