So he didn't break the ministerial code. Answer is he didn't, and he went through the correct procedures. The body that you don't trust is independent and Hancock had no influence on things. Moreover, It's not about the money someone makes, it's if he made it legally... and he did.
As I said, it's just a Labour attempt to make the government look bad before a By-election. Desperados.

That's not the point Bobby. We all know how things work and tbh I am not very happy the way Cameron acted. But Matt Hancock followed all the rules and did not breach 'Ministerial code'. His case is completely different.

Just a coincidence it's his sisters company? Suppose it could have been his pub landlord or just a mate. At least we have the 'independent' investigation going on into lobbying. What a ****ing joke. I only wish I had screwd every penny out of the self employment scheme now. Will damn make sure I get the 4th one!

And? What law or ministerial code has he broken?
Sir Starmer and his wife knew each other through legal channels does this mean they broke ethical practice... no. It's all a bit clutching at straws Bob. You should focus on Cameron as he has caused a bit of a stir.

They've all got their snouts in the trough.
Not breaking any rules doesn't make it any more palatable imo.
Labour have done their share too, but this government seem to be breaking records for suspicious contract awards etc.

I agree, the focus should be on Cameron and our present government ministers, but I don't reckon anything will happen, just get brushed under the carpet. I don't get all this ministerial code ****e. It means nothing. Did Patel not break it when going to Israel? Only to land the home secretary job later? Then a report into her bullying and evidence of breaking the code resulted in Johnson just letting it go. Ministerial code my arse, its up there with the myth of democracy.

I think you've summed it up quite well Col. I'm using present examples but I mean politics in general, regardless of political allegiance, this just ain't right.

Well actually Col the point of the argument is if Hancock broke ministerial code and he did not. Saying all MPs have got their snouts in the trough is a bit of a sweeping comment. Plenty of MPs over the years have been decent servants, not only their constituency but to the country. You will always get a few bad apples.

Just for arguments sake, what do you reckon would have happened if he had?
