Exactly this…..as history has proven, appeasement isn’t really the answer

Habits are difficult to break, must be like a natural instinct for him to tell lies, he’s been doing it all of his career and most likely throughout his school

As someone mentioned on the news this morning "we need more jaw jaw than war war". Hopefully he will backdown and gets some of what he wants and returns as a hero without an invasion. Sad really in these times when a reporter said today when he was in Russia most of the shops had British names and people driving British cars, why would someone want to go to war when the people are happy without it.

If he doesn’t invade then I fail to see how he could claim any kind of victory. It could be a case of him backing himself into a corner just as much as us.

This is what the New Yorker said:
For Putin, Ukraine seems to be key not because he dreams of resurrecting the Soviet Union or enlarging the territory of modern-day Russia by force; rather, Ukraine presents an opportunity for Russia, once and for all, to reassert its geopolitical relevance. As Putin sees it, only the threat of war can reopen a conversation that, to many in the West, has long felt like settled history: the expansion of nato eastward, the denial of a Russian veto on questions of regional security, and the underlying sense that Russia lost the Cold War. If Ukraine joins nato, or is drawn into a de-facto military alliance with it, then Putin’s project has failed; if Ukraine is kept from doing so, Putin has fulfilled his historical role.

So from this I would say that an invasion is more likely than not. I guess only time will tell……luckily I’m too old for a call up ;)

You'd have thought he'd stay in long enough for his letter to de-select Boris would count! Mind, Labour probably want Boris to stay as long as possible now.

I was thinking the same….would be better for Labour if Johnson stayed. He’s making them look a laughing stick and turning people against the Tories….no more lovable, bumbling Boris

The vast majority of politicians these days have no integrity whatsoever so I wouldn’t hold your breath on that one

I want Johnson gone and a serious, and what some might think boring politician in. Yes that would help the conservatives but hopefully it might put behind some of this panto reality tv style politics and maybe both parties can get back to doing what’s best for the U.K. … or we might just get another corrupt git whose more subtle with it

Actually that is the best I have seen him of late.
He is right all Labour has to talk about is Party’s… like he said Starmer is irrelevant. Starmer was also wrong to bring the Queen into the questions. He knows he should not do that.

Also did anyone see Rayners face when Starmer cracked too many jokes. She rolled her eyes.

No I have never liked MPs that swap sides ( on all parties). You are letting the voters down. I would be distraught if my MP switched sides. should always be an instant by election.

The vast majority of politicians do have integrity. It's predominately Johnson and his Brexit Party government that have none.

What are your favourite Johnson lies? Here are some of mine:

£350 million a week to the NHS
    Turkey joining the EU
    An EU Army
No border in the Irish Sea
Lower food prices outside the EU
Lower energy prices outside the EU
    Scrap VAT on energy bills
    Easiest trade deal in history
We got Brexit done (it's still not done)

The Partygate lies are inconsequential compared to these.

Shall we list all of Starmers mistakes and flip flops? Boris listed 6 in PMQ's . PS Brexit is done , we are out of the EU... get over it.

That’s the best you’ve seen him recently… bloody hell

I’d agree Starmer was taking way too long to get out some **** gags. Could and should have been way more matter of fact and cutting.
