    The majority of the squad return to training tomorrow. (July 1)

    Those who were on or are on international duty will report back later.

    We should also receive confirmation of changes to the coaching staff very shortly.

    On top of all that, we’ll get a first proper look at this year’s training wear.

    Will be interesting to see who is and isn’t there!

    Bringing the season closer :) At least I think that's a good thing....amazing how relaxing it is when Saints aren't playing. There may be some notable absences, but presence doesn't always mean a player is staying...the ones in limbo will also report in for training. Good to have a separate thread...especially when the preseason games start.

    And, and, and in 2 years and 6 weeks time we will be worrying about being disqualified from the Champions League due to FFP. All the usual teams will be complaining how it’s not fair we reached the competition whilst making a net profit each year.

    Ralph retorts that it’s Liverpool’s fault for buying Long for £83m.

    So the rumour of Dave Watson moving away from purely coaching GKs has been confirmed. So much for those in Saintsweb who have had a downer on Watson for quite a while....apparently blaming him for everything bad at the club right down to including the poor quality of the tea at SMS.

    Well hopefully he won't be here by the start of the season. I'm going to go with one of the new signings who isn't awesome against Burnley.

    That LD Sports logo looks much better like that, cut out and in one colour, rather than the big slab of plastic on the home shirts.
