Still a huge ask for them to suddenly win half of their games between now and the end of the season. Can't see it.
Really pleased for Norwich. They comfortably play the best football of the bottom six, and deserve to have so many more points than they have. They miss about four decent chances every match (and did again today), and seem to concede from almost every mistake they make. I've refused to give up on them - although the 3-0 loss last week pushed me very close. They have a nasty May to finish with, but a relatively nice looking March and April.
Sheff Utd (A) Saints (H) Everton (H) Arsenal (A) Brighton (H) Watford (A) West Ham (H) Chelsea (A) Burnley (H) Man City (A) 5 wins takes them to 36 points...… I can't see it happening unfortunately, but would love it if they did.
Yep, every time I seem to catch the highlights of Norwich this season, they look pretty decent. Have never understood how they are rooted to the bottom. I have a feeling they could make things interesting too. Stranger things have happened.
Believe it or not it's hard to find an unhappy Norwich fan. This season was a bonus for us and relegation is pretty much factored in, although last night does put a question mark in the equation. We need seventeen points from our last ten games and as it took twenty four to get our first seventeen that's looking a big ask. Injuries to defenders have played a big part but at least unlike Villa and West Ham we have not spent £100 million to get relegated. On balance I still think it's us and those two.
Exactly my view. Siren voices like the fragrant Ms. Brady were telling us to splash the cash but look where that has got those clubs. I am more than happy for season or two back in the Championship watching us win games at £15 a throw.
