Lawwell must carry some influence, right enough, to get the game moved from Hampden.

After a couple of you lot questioned how your attendance was so low dispite rangers being in the competition. Therefor I would imagine that you'll only have approx the same 14k for the semi had it been at parkhead. (this also stands for hampden, don't know if such a fixture would be moved to have use of the potential for an extra 20k fans if they've already started digging up hampden for the commonwealth gash)

That's all we ask, **** off and leave us ****s to it, please.

    Sorry Pud - can't help myself. <laugh>

    So ....?

And getting gubbed by St Mirren 4-0 etc etc etc. Point is that the low attendances were at least in part due to people who had paid to go, not going.

Actually the point is what are the reasons for decreasing attendances. If people buy tickets and don't go, that's clearly not due to the recession. So the relatively low attendances of 2009-10 - when that happened a lot - compared to 2010-11 are not due to the recession - they're due to supporter discontent. On the other hand, the fact is that fewer tickets were sold in 2010-11 than 2009-10, suggests that supporters were less willing to part with their hard-earned cash - ie they were feeling the effects of the recession.

Season tickets and match day ticket sales in the accounts are based entirely on tickets for Celtic Park. Why would they be for any games at another other club's stadium? <laugh>

I take it you can't actually read, you complete mongo. People who DON'T HAVE season tickets are more likely to make the choice between attending euro games and league games. For example, I have a certain budget for going to fitba, I don't have a season ticket, so the choice is: do I go to more league games or do I chose to go to fewer league games and, instead, the CL games?

By this time last season, Celtic had played 5 league games at CP with an average attendance of ~49,000. The average this year is ~45,500. However in europe, in 3 homes games by roughly the same time last season the average attendance was 39,000 - whereas this season it's an average of 54,000. So people are chosing to go to the european games at the expense of the league games. Like Mr Lawell said. Like I said.

He can, but he's apparently the best WUM in the world, and as all good WUMs do, he ignores the facts that don't support his risible logic<ok>

He's keen to discuss Celtic attendences for some reason???? But not so keen on discussing or explaining why Rangers attendences are falling so much that they are lying about the numbers who actually came through the turnstiles at Ibrox.

So you said those low attendances came at the end of Mowbrays reign, only 1 of them did.

What the **** are you blaming the ****e results for low attendances. We all know it’s down to the recession. <whistle>

So in 2009/10 you all stayed away because Rangers were winning well and Savco were ****e despite the world recession?
Your attendances continued to rise until this season, were your main competitor is no longer in the same league and as many people predicted it will be a 1 horse race for the title.

That’s just a big fat coincidence is it?

Does your club not take a cut when selling tickets for away/neutral grounds?

Can you pick an excuse and stick with it. So let’s get this straight. You budget yourself how much you can spend on football. <laugh>

And then you have to make the nail biting decision on whether or not to go to CL games or league games. I’m guessing all the others missing Celtic fans also follow this method. Ehh.

Let me ask, has this budget always been in place or has it only came into effect this season?

So when Savco are pumped out of Europe attendance figures at Parkheid will start to boom again?

Like a husband arguing with another, Russ is the woman standing by the side.

I think it was my questions on matchday tickets that really buckled him.
