Such sad news, he was a character being a royal, RIP Phillip
I am sure she will be grateful for all the condolences on here Uber..
RIP HRH Prince Philip.
A man who truly knew the meaning of duty.
That will be a sad day.
Oh crap such sad news. RIP
It is not the royal part that gets me...but imagine losing your spouse/hubbie/partner of 70 years.
That upsets me so much.
I hope Uber is wrong
Agree Beth he was a rock for her ( she has said so). It will be tough for her. Funny they are just saying this on the news.
Bloody hell im upset now. The news presenter was crying reading out the news.
Not Huw Edwards...?
No the fella from Sky. Not sure if it was Mark Austin.
At 60 this year, l've always been for the Monocacy of old.
Don't know whether l can handle the young ones ............ time will tell, but Prince Phillip, with all his thoughts in general, regardless of what people thought of him, he was one of a kind. For the best part of 100 years, you have served us well........... thank you indeed.
RIP Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Sad to hear this. My father was the bar manager at the Waldorf Hotel and met him many times as there were often banquets held at the hotel. He said he always had time to chat with staff and was very much 'life and soul' of such occasions. Can't fault his loyalty and service to the Queen who is having another pretty awful year. RIP...
I just listened to someone on TV who knew him for over 60 years and basically said the same and that he was a top fella to be with.
**** sake DMX has died. Now I’m sad.
Isn’t that some sort of kids’ stunt bike?
Its wheels finally fell off...
Certainly a fine innings from Prince Phillip..........Her Majesty will be lost without him......
hasn't bob got one for sale
Very sad news for Her Majesty and of course all the family. Like us all he had his faults, but loyalty and service were not one of them - both firstly to his wife and secondly to his country.
Thank you for your service Phillip and all our thoughts will be with hoping Elizabeth can cope with her loss after so many years of your amazing company and support.
