Leon Jeanne's son ... Cardiff car crash victims: Leon Jeanne's son Rafel killed as two others fight for their lives | Daily Mail Online
I don't remember his father playing for us, but looked him up. Very sad story of unfulfilled promise Poor Rafel too, what an awful lot of sadness and tragedy in that family. RIP Rafel
I remember Leon as a frustratingly talented player, frustrating because he was always running into trouble off the pitch. Sad for his boy. RIP
RIP Tony Johnson….Blackpool fan killed during a brawl between Blackpool and Burnley fans on Saturday.
RIP Topol, one of the most iconic scenes in any musical film ! The amount of work he did for charity was quite incredible, a great man !
Dick Fosbury - the man who revolutionised the high jump in athletics - has died at the age of 76. The American leapt backwards over the bar to win gold at the 1968 Mexico Olympics in a technique which became known as the 'Fosbury Flop' and is used by high jumpers today. At the Games Fosbury set a then record of 2.24 metres using his method. Writing on Instagram, Fosbury's agent Ray Schulte said his client had died on Sunday. RIP
RIP Dick, like you say, he changed the high jump forever. Its the look on some of the spectators faces, when he first used that method. It was like they'd just seen an alien lol
Jim Gordon, the drummer who played on the Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds and on Derek & The Dominos' Layla, has died in prison aged 77. He was serving a life sentence when he died of natural causes on Monday. Gordon was convicted of killing his mother in 1983 before being diagnosed with schizophrenia. RIP Jim - not cool killing your mother but those are two great albums to have played on.
Footnote to that story - l was always lead to believe that the piano player from the studio version of Layla, with the extended piano playing towards the end of the song, cut his mothers head off……. I will follow this up.
