Watched the Blackburn-Wigan game today and was not sure if the result was the one we wanted but at least the draw meant they both dropped points. Looking at the quality of players in the two teams (especially the forward lines) shows what a great job Hurst and his coaches have done this season to get us right up there with them. Our run-in does not look overly daunting, especially if the pitches dry out and we can play the sort of football we did at Charlton so automatic promotion is still on the cards. Even if its the play-offs for us we must have a good a chance as any as they will be played on good surfaces which will not be to the advantage of some of the more physical sides who have beaten us recently. This team has been breaking all the 'hoodos'
(such as away at Bristol and over Fleetwood) so lets hope we can break a few more (Walsall and Wembley would be nice) on the run-in. Lets have a full strength team on Tuesday so we can get to Wembley and make this season doubly memorable.
    Come on you Blues!

A draw for Blackburn and Wigan was probably good. The alternative was Blackburn winning to stop Wigan gaining points.

Our run in contains a few top table clubs but also a few stragglers. These lower league teams will want to secure a league one place so will give us a battle. Hopefully some of them will get the 50 points before we meet them and will instead be thinking of their holidays.

we have the chance to close the gap if we can get something against charlton, we cant afford to mess this up as the games are running out.

    Welcome on board Zen.

Chalton is definitely a must win game! We do seem to play better against the higher teams, hasn't that always been the case? The more pressure we can heap on the top two the better.

We played really well at Charlton - they have talented quick players but could not cope with our pressing. Let's hope that, even without Abu, we can reproduce that tomorrow.
